The National Police Foundation was established in March, 1975 as a Trust under the Charitable Endowments Act 1890 for the Sake of Police Employees and their families. It's headed by a helping Inspector General of Police. According to plot of administration/ ministry, a Committee of Administration headed by the Secretary, Interior Division as ex-officio chairman approves the yearly budget, monitors the functioning of this Foundation and lays down policy guidelines.
